SUPPORT RAISED £4,000

A VERY big thank you to all the people of Ramsbottom and surrounding areas who once again contributed most generously to the Rotary Christmas collections.

The weather, while not deep in snow, was treacherous underfoot and consequently was too dangerous to go out at night.

So apologies to those who were expecting to see Santa. We know little ones were disappointed. Please give them our sincere apologies. Also a thank you to the local hostelries of Ramsbottom who were happy to see Santa visiting their premises. The grand total of £4,000 was raised during the weeks of December by an army of volunteer collectors from all walks of life who gave their precious time at a very busy time of year.
