CASES heard at Burnley Magistrates Court:

ALEX Baxendale, 24, of Albert Terrace, Rawtenstall, was found guilty in his absence of dropping litter. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay £75 costs.

JORDAN Ryan Simon Crea, 20, of Hardman Avenue, Rawtenstall, was found guilty in his absence of dropping litter. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay £75 costs.

DEBALEE J Montgomery, 38, of Newchurch Road, Newchurch, was found guilty in her absence of dropping litter. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £75 costs.

KIRSTY Watson, 25, of Albert Terrace, Rawtenstall, was found guilty in her absence of dropping litter. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £75 costs.

GARY Smith, 52, of Mosedale Drive, Burnley, pleaded guilty to speeding in Rawtenstall. He was fined £100, ordered to pay £85 costs and given three points on his driving licence.

CASES heard at Blackburn Magistrates Court:

DANIEL Garry Baxter, 26, of Queensway, Newchurch, pleaded guilty to drink driving, using a car without insurance and driving without a licence. He was fined £250, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 12 months.

LEON Patrick Felton, 34, of HMP Liverpool, pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary in Rossendale. He was given an eight-month jail sentence and ordered to pay £140 compensation.

SAJID Hussain, 29, of Manchester Road, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to shoplifting. He was given a six-month conditional discharge order.
