HASLINGDEN mum Julie Haworth praises East Lancashire Hospitals’ ‘Gyn and tonic’ support group after ovarian cancer surgery. ( February 23)

Kate Bulmer: As an East Lancashire Hospitals Trust member of staff we received this story in the weekly blog from our chief exec! I’m super proud to be a nurse always will be, it’s always good to get praise and recognition when deserved. All too often it’s doom gloom and complaints. We are over worked and over-stretched doing the best we can on the most part. We will be stuffed without our NHS no matter what people trying to privatise it would like us to think. Thanks for some positive feedback.
