Return of rail ale trail
THE East Lancashire Railway’s guided rail ale trail around Rawtenstall and Ramsbottom returns on Saturday, March 17.
The trail will make its way along the most travelled section of the 13-mile line, visiting the Irwell Valley’s finest pubs, and Ramsbottom’s own brewery.
The tour costs £39.95 and appeals to lovers of both real ale and local history and includes an unlimited ELR travel ticket, a guided tour of 4-5 hours, sampling beer or bottles of ale and lunch.
