Scilla bifolia The bright blue flowers of the spring squill look lovely among the yellow aconites and white snowdrops.

Plant in autumn for a delightful spring display, choosing a site that provides spring sun but shade in sum- mer – under deciduous trees or shrubs is perfect.

It’s also good in the rockery and naturalises easy – its preference is for light soil but it will do well in the average garden soil.
