CASES at Burnley Magistrate­s Court:

JUSTIN Cockle, 40, of Edenhurst Apartments, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to using threatenin­g or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour. He was fined £165.

ANDREA Louise Hoole, 40, of Knowl Meadow, Helmshore, pleaded guilty to breaching the peace. She was bound over in the sum of £100 for six months to keep the peace.

DANIEL Jay Crook, 24, of Newcombe Drive, Little Hulton, Salford, pleaded guilty to criminal damage in Bacup and using threatenin­g or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour in Rawtenstal­l. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £300 compensati­on.

SAM Byrne, 26, of Chapel Street, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to driving without a licence, using a car without insurance, failing to stop after an accident, failing to report an accident to police and driving without due care and attention. He was fined £323, with £85 costs and given eight points on his licence.

PHILLIP Pilkington, 27, of Grane Park, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to using a car without insurance and driving without a licence. He was fined £300, with £85 costs and given six points on his licence.

DANIEL David Brooke, 34, of East Bank, Water, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place and while subject to a conditiona­l discharge order. He was fined £40 with £85 costs.

ADAM Lee Hutchinson, 30, of Franklin Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to committing fraud in Haslingden and using a car without insurance. He was fined £280, with £85 costs and disqualifi­ed from driving for six months.

BEN Philip Kelly, 22, of Wells Street, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis as part of an investigat­ion. He was given a 12-month community order worth a four-week curfew requiremen­t, with £200 costs and disqualifi­ed from driving for 17 months, reduced by 17 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

DANIELLE Marshall, 28, of Walnut Street, Bacup, pleaded guilty to two counts of benefit fraud. She was fined £250 with £85 costs.

NIAL Ward, 20, of Lincoln Place, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to drink driving. He was fined £200, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualifi­ed from driving for 12 months, reduced by 13 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

CASES at Blackburn Magistrate­s Court:

RICHARD John Sutton, 36, of Blackburn Road, Rising Bridge, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention and failing to report an accident to police. He was fined £67, ordered to pay £85 costs and given five points on his licence.

GEMMA Porter, 30, of Gladstone Street, Bacup, was found guilty in her absence of being the parent of a child of compulsory school age who failed to attend school regularly. She was fined £440 with £120 costs.
