HASLINGDEN Community Link – HCL – is truly a little gem in the heart of Haslingden.

They have excellent facilities and work with a range of organisations and community groups to deliver services to the local community.

If you are looking for a venue for courses or a service to the community that you would like to deliver, they are happy to discuss your plans with you.

There is information available at reception about the comprehensive range of courses and activities currently delivered at HCL.

They also offer fun, care and education to support children in the local community to reach their full potential.

HCL is open 7.30am until 6pm, Monday to Friday, all year round and can offer care for children aged six months to five years within their baby unit, nursery and pre-school and offer the Free Early Years Entitlement for both two and three-yearolds.

They follow The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum guidelines to support your child’s learning and development.

Bumble’s Café specialises in producing quality dishes using local and seasonal produce, offering a hearty breakfast, lunch including soups, sandwiches, a daily two-course meal offer and delicious cakes served with tea or coffee.

They also offer catering for private functions. Every second Saturday of the month a Veterans’ Breakfast Club also provides breakfast and a chat and is well attended by local veterans of all services.

HCL is also introducing new services to support the older members of the community.

The core message from HCL is one of improving the quality of life of local people offering supportive links based on health, wellbeing, education, social activity and work experience and provide a venue for your events and activities.
