Young Harry’s award

-

HAVING recently come in to the first team after playing for Ramsbottom United Juniors and the Reserve side, 18-yearold Harry Foulds scooped the Player of the Month award for April, as voted for by the Rams supporters.

Harry was presented with his award, donated as always by Irwell Works Brewery, at the end of season Awards night at the adjacent cricket club.

Meanwhile, the club revealed this week that they have again achieved FA Charter Standard recognition. ●● Harry Foulds receives his award from Daz Comer

An inspection by the Lancashire FA at a recent fixture at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium confirmed that all the criteria had been met, and for the second time the club has been awarded “FA Charter Standard Adult Club Award.”

The FA will be sending a certificate and plaque to the club in the near future.

Ramsbottom are looking to recruit a new first team physio for the 2018/19 season.

A part-time position, primarily Tuesday/Thursday evenings and Saturdays (July-April), the successful applicant will be expected to undertake travel as is necessary to fulfil the job requirements.

Applications to the manager, Mark Fell, via CV to rufcstaff@ gmail.com. The closing date is Monday 4th June.
