Rams look to tear up the turf on trip to Burnley

-

CRICKET PREVIEW BY SHELDAN KEAY RAMSBOTTOM will try to keep up their great run of form when they make the trip to Turf Moor to face Burnley this weekend.

It will be a difficult match for Ramsbottom, as Burnley are in eighth place having won nine of their 15 matches so far this season.

Ramsbottom have looked superb during the campaign, though, and sit in second place after 13 wins from their 15 matches.

BACUP will attempt to put last weekend’s disappointment behind them when they head to Cliffe Park to face Great Harwood.

Bacup’s game with Colne last weekend ended in a no result, leaving Bacup 18th in the table.

Great Harwood are in 17th place, one position above their rivals, so Bacup will know a victory this weekend will see them leapfrog them in the table.

HASLINGDEN have a home game to contend with as they welcome Rishton to Bentgate.

Haslingden are in 15th position after five wins from 15 games. Rishton have found things tough during the campaign, winning just three of their matches to leave them in 22nd.

RAWTENSTALL are also at home as they go up against Nelson at the Worswick Memorial Ground.

Rawtenstall are 20th in the division after managing three wins out of their 15 games, while this weekend’s opponents, Nelson, are in 12th, with eight wins throughout the campaign so far.

Other matches this weekend sees Accrington host Lowerhouse, Norden travel to Colne, Rochdale take on Church, Todmorden go up against Milnrow and Littleborough face Enfield.
