Join Horse and Bamboo this September for fun family entertainm­ent, puppetry and theatre. Name of event: Baby Boogie. Where is it?: Horse + Bamboo. When is it?: Sunday, September 9, 2–4pm. Who is it suitable for?: 0-4 years and their families. What does it involve: We’re ready to join in the Annual Rossendale 60s Festival fun this autumn. Think psychedeli­c fashion, flower power and, most importantl­y, rock and roll! Come along for an afternoon of disco fun with your babies and toddlers. With plenty of opportunit­y to dance, interact and play, it’s sure to be the grooviest event of the year for you and your little ones. Name of event: How Monkey Found His Swing. When is it?: Sunday, September 16, 3pm, with free crafts from 2pm. Who is it suitable for?: 4-8 years and their families. What does it involve: How Monkey Found His Swing, pictured right, is a fun right, interactiv­e concert experience for the very young and the young at heart. Join acclaimed storytelle­r Ursula Holden-Gill and musicians from HSQ on a musical adventure through the jungle as a jazz-loving monkey loses his swing and vows to get it back!
