CAROLYN O’HARA
CAROLYN O’Hara, of Foxhill Drive, Whitewellbottom, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, aged 56.
She worked as an operative at Lambert Howarths as a footwear operative and was a cook at Lumb Valley Rest Home.
She enjoyed puzzles, baking, reading, music and was a Westlife fan.
She leaves sister Judith, brother Keith, sister-inlaw Diane, brother-in-law Raymond, nephews Sean, Patrick and Michael, nieces Katy and Charlotte, great-nephew Levi and uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at Burnley Crematorium on Friday, August 2 at 11.20am, led by David Ireland.

DORIS SIMPSON
MRS Doris Simpson, of Olive House Nursing Home, passed away on Thursday, July 18, aged 91.
Doris worked in Canada as a printer and photographer before retiring and coming back to England in 2008.
She enjoyed travelling with her husband Ron, including Canada and America, and had a keen interest in history and the Civil War.
She leaves husband Ron, brother-in-law Wilf, niece, goddaughter and many friends.
The service and cremation will be held on Thursday, August 1, at 12noon at Burnley Crematorium, led by Rev David Burrow.

MARK MCMANUS
MR Mark John McManus, of Haslingden, died on Saturday, July 20, at Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 55.
Mark was a much loved son of John and Pamela McManus, brother to Simon and Jessica and uncle to Zac, Jake, Alex, Eleanor and Charlotte.
Mark was an active volunteer for the Sue Ryder organisation and loved to drop in there to chat and catch up to date with friends.
The funeral will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Thursday, August 1, at 3pm.
