Bacup’s second eleven fared considerab­ly better at home to Church. Church were bowled out for only 49 in 16.2 overs with Sam Lord picking up the remarkable figures of 7 for 9 and Dom Boardman 3 for 9.

Bacup romped home by ten wickets on 50 for 0 after only 7.2 overs. Luke Donovan made 28 not out and Boardman completed a good all round performanc­e with 22 not out.

Rawtenstal­l were dominant winners as they beat Milnrow by 102 runs at Ladyhouse.

Milnrow won the toss and decided to field first, but it appeared to backfire as good scores from Jake Errey (79) and Andrew Payne (77) helped them make 227-7.

Milnrow were then bowled all out for 125 in reply, as Rawtenstal­l were comfortabl­e winners.

Haslingden took on East Lancs at Alexandra Meadows in the 250th Lancashire League game between the two teams. With Haslingden profession­al Ryan Burl back from Zimbabwe duty, East Lancs won the toss and elected to bat first.

Oliver Lord and Joe Sipocz opened the bowling and Sipocz took the first two wickets to fall to reduce East Lancs to 21 for 2.

One run later Lawrence Adlum ran out the East Lancs profession­al Angelo Jayasinghe with a superb piece of fielding.

When the spinners Ryan Burl and Garry Sudworth came on to bowl, wickets fell steadily with Sudworth taking an excellent 5 for 20 in his thirteen overs.

Phill Aspinall scored his maiden League half century for East Lancs and he was the last man out stumped by Ethan Stanton off the bowling of Sean Hunsley.

East Lancs were bowled out for 108 in 36.4 overs.

Graham Knowles and Lawrence Adlum opened for Haslingden and moved the score onto 36 before Adlum was bowled by Joe Bolton for 16.

The game progressed quickly and Graham Knowles was unbeaten on 39 from 58 balls and Ryan Burl was 37 not out from 46 balls at the end.

There was an early finish in the 23rd over and Haslingden won the game by nine wickets, 12 points to Haslingden who move within one point of second placed Middleton.

Captain Joe Sipocz said after the game that he was very pleased with the win and that his team were dominant all aspects of the game. It was a comprehens­ive victory.Enfield picked up bragging rights over local rivals Great Harwood as they secured an eight wicket victory at Cliffe Park.

Great Harwood batted first after winning the toss, but they found things extremely difficult and were bowled all out for just 59, with four batsmen failing to score a single run.

Enfield chased down the total in less than 20 overs, ending on 63-2 to secure a one-sided win.

Littleboro­ugh suffered a defeat at home after losing by four wickets against Colne at Hare Hill.

Elsewhere in Division Two, Nelson picked up a two wicket victory over Middleton at Seedhill.
