BBC The Apprentice competitor Lewis Ellis has reportedly become a target of online trolls after Lord Sugar compared him to a Kindle on Twitter.

The show saw the Haslingden 28-year-old whip his shirt off as his team promoted summertime in Finland, revealing a heavily tattooed arm and chest.

Initially Lord Sugar penned: “Lewis tattoos are horrific.

“Tell me where I am missing the point. What does he look like.”

To which Lewis replied: “Wowwww LAS how could you do me like this.”

Which was followed up Lord Sugar saying: “Lewis your tattoos tell your story.

“What are you a Kindle. “You have the right to do what you want to your body.

“I have the right of an opinion. I say they are horrible. When you’re 50 on the beach you’ll wear a T shirt.

“You will be an embarrassment to your kids.”

The former Haslingden High School student wasn’t having any of this, he said: “Back to rule #1 f*** what people think about you!

“Thank you everyone that took the time to show some support for my “horrific” tattoos and pointing out no one has the right to judge you or your body.”

Lewis, whose mum Christine, two sisters and brother all also live in Haslingden, hit the headlines in 2016 when he and his friends duped the nation into believing that they had mistakenly ended up in war-torn Syria after boarding a dolphin tour.

He later admitted it was a prank video.

This followed a previous stunt of his when he donned a life jacket and some goggles and then went for a dip in a water feature at Manchester’s Trafford Centre, to much hilarity.
