HASEEB Hameed will look to resurrect his career with the help of Peter Moores at Nottinghamshire.

The batsman was released by Lancashire at the end of last season after three years in which he struggled for form.

But he has struggled for form since then and in 2018 he averaged just 9.44.

Despite starting last season with a century against Middlesex, he again struggled and lost his place in the Lancashire side which coasted to the Division Two title.

It was announced he was being released a month before the end of the campaign, and now he is back in Division Two after Nottinghamshire’s relegation last season.
