He worked for 28 years at Suttons where he made lots of friends. Frank left Suttons to look after his mother and father.

He never married to have children, but was like a second dad to all his nephews and nieces.

He remembered all their birthdays and made sure you always got a card.

Frank knew lots of people and had many friends from his home town of Bacup. He enjoyed a brew and a smoke. When he went for a smoke he would always ask, “Do you want to go for a last smoke?”

Frank was a very kind and generous man and if you were one of his friends he would buy you gifts and sweets on special occasions. His hobbies were playing cards and bingo but really just for the company. One thing Frank enjoyed was spending time with his nephews and nieces when they were growing up. He liked to go on holidays, bringing back gifts, mainly sticks of rock from Blackpool.

Frank is leaving a large family of brothers, sisters, and lots of nephews and nieces plus many friends too numerous to mention.

A service will be conducted by Peter Golding at Burnley Crematorium, at 2.30pm on Tuesday, March 3.
