When I found Peter in the 90s he’d uploaded photos of my classes etc. I left Rawtenstall in 63 when I was married and never went back, so thank you Peter. RIP.

Geraldine George: A very sad loss to his family, friends and the community who took so much pleasure from all the photographs he uploaded.

Caz Nick: Aw bless, loved all the photos he shared. Dawn Love: Aw my deepest sympathies to his family and friends. This is sad news for the Rossendale people who are all over the world the link they shared to this selfless gentleman. I hadn’t had the pleasure to know him or be in his company however I know and respect his name - a huge link to Rossendale times and its people, places, past and present, the love, passion and knowledge he showed us over the years through all the photos of Rossendale and its people. I thank him for all the lovely memories, we have all looked at and enjoyed. God bless him for saving these treasures, and all the acts of kindness he did throughout his life. Gentle hugs I send to those who loved him. Thank you Mr Peter Fisher. RIP - a legend to Rossendale residents past and present.

Jack Lord: He did well. Jean Seedall: A life well lived!
