Plenty of fun to be had at Easter festival
JTHIS week, we are looking at the Bacup Easter Festival.
The Bacup Now Community Group are finalising an amazing event on Easter Saturday, April 16 in association with the Britannia Coconutters Boundary Dance that will have something for everyone, and hopefully continue the amazing community spirit that was created at Christmas.
On Irwell Terrace,
Pete Sweetmore and the Rossendale Radio Team will be broadcasting throughout the day, children can meet the Easter Bunny and have their photo taken.
There will be music from the Rossendale Ukulele Band, dancing from Dansworks, food vendors, tombola, a Punch & Judy Show, who will also be doing magic tricks and balloon animals, a face painter, brush and pencil with art workshops for children, a stilt walker and performances from
the Britannia Coconutters.
Irwell Terrace car park will be transformed into the popular ‘Kid’s Zone’ with lots of activities and attractions for the kids to enjoy including Fairground Rides, Bouncy Castle, Funfair Stalls and much more.
In addition to the products offered by regular traders on Bacup Market, there will be an Easter Market hosting over 20 stall selling a great range of unique quality products.
The Britannia Coconutters will be performing on the market as part of the Boundary Dance.
