Have YOUR say about town hall services

-

ROSSENDALE council have launched a survey to gather information from residents about their interactions with the council.

The local authority are asking as many residents as possible to complete the survey in order to help them develop and improve their services and the customer care journey.

A council spokesperson said: “It is important that we gather information from our residents to measure their experience when they contact the council. We want to understand what we’re doing right and where we can make improvements so that when people contact us, for whatever reason, we’re dealing with them as effectively and efficiently as possible.

“We want to know in the first instance how they feel we are delivering the core services like emptying their bins, keeping our streets and town centres clean and litter-free, and maintaining our parks and open spaces. And secondly, how people contact us and where they go to get that information.

“This will help us to further improve those core services.”

As well as being able to access the survey online at RossendaleSurvey or by scanning the QR code displayed on posters around the borough, the council will also be carrying out fieldwork in the weeks commencing May 9 and May 16, allowing residents to complete the survey at various supermarkets, bus stations, markets, and doctor surgeries.

The spokesperson added: ”The survey will be available to do online from April 21to May 20, but we realise that not everyone will have access to the internet, or they may not feel very confident to go online and complete it, so we will be having council officers at various locations like supermarkets or doctor’s surgeries to go through the questions and help residents complete the survey that way.”

Details of dates and locations will be posted on the council’s social media pages once they have been confirmed.
