WHAT you’ve been saying on our Facebook page:

●●PLANS to build 104 new homes and uncover stream in Haslingden to be decided on by development control committee (June 24):

Kate Lyndley: As if Grane road isn’t busy enough. What a nightmare for residents

Vikky Barton: This will be awful!

Derek Duckworth: Another 104 poll taxes for the council

Simon Rothschild: Good motorway access!

Jonathan Faulkner: Brown field site, build affordable homes on it. Much better idea than the other site behind the Holden Arms!

Marc Goldring: For everybody protesting the site up the road and saying it needs to be brownfield, I guess you have no issue with this

Sab Rani: All that went way over my head. Make it affordable. That’s all.

Ian McCarthy: So just where is the new school going and who will pay for that this implies at least two more age streams having to be educated. And what about leisure facilities a swimming pool for example the developers need to pay for those as well.

Benjamin James Hardman: Still using those old main roads, built over 200 years ago!! A lot of things have changed since then, no one is working in a mill at the bottom of street anymore, and noone is walking across the fields to school...which means we need roads for cars, and we’ve definitely not got any room for any more roads

Abdul Hoque: Brilliant. Susan Coyle: 104!
