“This is a story many women around the world can relate to, and we hope many visitors will join us next year, to get a closer look at some of Diana’s most iconic outfits, on display in her former home.” PASSENGERS have been caught up in the magical world of Harry Potter at Heathrow Airport.

Hundreds of shoppers have passed through the doors of The Harry Potter shop which opened its door at Terminal 5 last week.

And with more than 200 products from J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, the Gazette can reveal the top five items that have had Muggles reaching for the shelves.

The much-anticipate­d launch last Wednesday (November 16) coincided with the release of Warner Bros prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Top 5 lines are: 1. Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans & Platform 9 3/4 Chocolate 2. Dobby the House Elf and Hedwig the Owl Plush 3. All Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts Books 4. Wands 5. House scarf, hats and gloves

With Christmas fast approachin­g and people flying to be with loved ones over the festive season, it will be the perfect one-stop shop for stocking fillers and presents to put a smile on the face of Harry Potter fans.

The 600 sq ft store also stocks newly released products from the all-new adventure film released on November 18, as well as collectibl­es, gifts, novelties and souvenirs from Platform 9 ¾ at King’s Cross Station and the West End hit play “Harry Potter and The Cursed Child Parts One and Two”.

The shop is located after security at the British Airways terminal and will be open seven days a week from 5.30am to 10pm.

It is anticipate­d it will be visited by more than 16 million passengers coming through Terminal 5 each year as they to travel around the globe.

Jonathan Sands, chief executive of The Harry Potter Shop, said: “We are proud to be opening The Harry Potter shop at Heathrow Terminal 5, in partnershi­p with Warner Bros.

“Consumer Products, and look forward to bringing some of our magic to the UK’s most iconic airport.”

Heathrow’s commercial director, Jonathan Coen, said: “We are really pleased to welcome the new Harry Potter Shop to Terminal 5. Harry Potter is loved across the globe and what better place to enjoy gift and souvenirs from the Wizarding World before our passengers fly to the other side of the world.

“We hope our customers enjoy everything the new store has to offer as they take a little magic with them.”
