We’re looking for new acts to play Hayes FM

Hayes FM presenter Hughie Dixon reviews the live band scene

-

ANOTHER new year ahead of us and my co host John Napier and I are on the look out for original acts to come and play live on our Hayes FM radio show throughout 2017.

We are looking for local(ish) singer, songwriters, rappers, duos or bands who are eager to come in and perform their vibes live for the world to hear – basically any act who can do a virtually unplugged set between the hours of 8pm and 9pm on a Tuesday night. The shows also have a listen back podcast option on YouTube via our ‘Ciao Buddha Show’ channel. Feel free to have a listen there at your convenience to see whether we’re your cup of tea.

Every week we try to promote high quality original artists from, or with a connection to, the Hillingdon borough or surrounding areas.

Previous acts who have delighted our audiences include Devience from Ruislip, The Tuts from Hayes and Ukraine’s Bloom Twins.

The Tuts, incidentally, now have their new video for their infectious indie anthem ‘1982’ from their highly acclaimed ‘Update Your Brain’ album up on YouTube, so check it out now.

So if you are an original artist or part of an original musical act and want to play live on Hayes FM then simply add me, Hughie Roi Dixon, on Facebook and send me some details with a link to Soundcloud, Bandcamp or YouTube or whatever social network you use to get your sounds out there and we’ll do our best to help you.

Be sure to tune into my interactive HayesFM radio show every Tuesday at 8pm to hear live and original performers, plus great tunes, chat and more live music news. You can find HayesFM on 91.8fm or on www.hayesfm.org.uk.
