Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner

NICK Hurd has been serving as an MP since 2005, winning the 2015 election for Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner by a sizeable majority of 20,224.

The Minister for Climate Change and Industry secured almost three times as many votes as his closest rival in 2015, Labour's Michael Borio, and is the fourth generation of his family to serve as an MP in the Commons.

The final list of candidates for the June 8 General Election is:

Nick Hurd (Conservati­ve) Rebecca Lury (Labour) Alex Cunliffe (Lib Dems) Richard Braine (UKIP) Sarah Green (Green) The seat, and the Ruislip-Norwood constituen­cy from which it was created, has always been held by the Conservati­ve party since 1950.

Hayes and Harlington

HAYES and Harlington incumbent John McDonnell was re-elected in 2015 with his highest majority to date, scoring 15,700 votes more than Conservati­ve candidate Pearl Lewis.

The Labour MP, who is also Shadow Chancellor in Jeremy Corbyn's cabinet, will be looking to defend the seat once again, 20 years after winning the then marginal seat from the Tories in 1997.

Uxbridge and South Ruislip

BORIS Johnson was elected as MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip on May 7 2015 by a majority of 10,695 votes over his nearest rival, Labour's Chris Summers.

This election cycle, the former Mayor of London will be challenged by a new cast of parliament­ary hopefuls.

The final list of candidates of the June 8 polls is: Boris Johnson (Conservati­ve) Vincent Lo (Labour) Rosina Robson (Lib Dems) Elizabeth Kemp (UKIP) Mark Kier (Green) In 2015, the Foreign Minister took over the Conservati­ve seat from long-standing Uxbridge MP Sir John Randall, whose family owned the eponymous Randall's of Uxbridge department store.

Polling stations will open from 7am to 10pm, with the result expected to be announced in the early hours of Friday (June 9) morning.
