Charley Brown’s going to town Cover Bands
IF YOU and few friends can gather around a radio on Tuesday March 27 between 8pm and 9pm and tune into 91.8 Hayes FM then you will be in for a fine selection of original tunes and cover versions from a 19 year old songstress, from Harrow, going by the name of Charley Brown.
Now a resident of Ickenham, Charley has been a regular face at the various open nights and jam sessions in and around the Hillingdon borough and is currently in the process of making her first promotional video, with the help of friends in high places at Pinewood Film Studios no less.
Although Charley has barely been playing guitar for five years, she has become rather proficient in many styles but has been singing for as long as she can remember. Charley’s influences and heroes include Amy Winehouse, Paolo Nutini, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Eryka Badu.
