Loveliest of cats – Cherry

-

COULD you offer a golden oldie a loving retirement home? Here at RSPCA Middlesex North West we have a number of Senior cats looking for forever homes.

With the number of kittens coming into our care rising our more mature moggies begin to get overlooked by potential adopters who are thinking of adopting a cat, most people automatically go for kittens and we do agree they are adorable. However, there are many advantages to adopting an older cat, Here is a small selection of some of our older and delightful seniors but you can fine more on our website.

Merlin

Merlin is a lovely 10-year-old lad looking for a new home after his beloved owners very sadly passed away.

Merlin is incredibly friendly, loving and affectionate. He loves lots of fuss and attention making him the ideal companion for someone in need of a bit of feline loving. Merlin also loves his grub, a bit too much, and so he is going to need a low calorie food to help him trim up and shed a few of those unwanted pounds.

This lovable giant is looking for a home where he will be pampered and loved for the rest of his years. He will need a garden to potter about in and having lived with other cats in the past we suspect he may fit in well to a home with existing cats.

Cherry

Cherry is a lovely cat, aged 12 years hoping to find a new forever home, as she was no longer wanted by her previous owners.

Cherry is incredibly friendly and affectionate, loves cuddles, fuss and attention and is a real lap lover. All she wants is a loving retirement home to call her own for the rest of her years.

Cherry has lived with both cats and dogs in the past so should settle down into a home with existing pets. She would prefer an adult-only home though a quiet home with older kids would be fine too.

Alfie and Tippy

Alfie and Tippy are a sweet pair of cats signed over after a complaint was made regarding their welfare.

Alfie is a very bold, outgoing boy, who loves lots of fuss and attention. Tippy is a little more reserved, but if you go and see her, she will soon be purring and lapping up all the fuss.

This pair would make lovely companion animals to someone willing to give them a loving lifelong home.

If you think you could offer a forever home to these cats or any of our rabbits, guinea pigs or small animals we currently have looking for a home for life then please call us on (020) 8966 9688 or email us at: info@rspcamiddlesex.org.uk.
