FOOTBALL eh? Marvellous game isn’t it?

However, if, like me, you need an antidote, you might want to check out High Wycombe actorturned-songwriter Alex Kew who plays a comeback gig this weekend at The Bootlegger, in Amersham Hill.

At 8pm on Friday you can enjoy his uplifting set of original ditties centred (although not exclusively) around the acoustic guitar.

Some of you may remember Alex from his key role in the hit kid’s ITV show My Parents Are Aliens, in which he played the part of middle sibling Josh Barker who, incidentally, occasionally played guitar on the show.
