Tennis player Andy Murray’s decision not to play at Wimbledon following a recent hip operation was a huge disappointment for fans – and his biographer, award-winning writer and journalist Sue Mott, who helped Murray complete his 2008 autobiography Hitting Back.
It was written just four years after he was crowned the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year in 2004, and two years after he beat then No.1 player Roger Federer and claimed his first ATP tour win.
Mott is an awardwinning writer and regularly works on television and radio programmes.
And she knows Murray better than most, having established a close working relationship with both him and his family over the years.
The house where Mott helped write Murray’s autobiography is now for sale, should any die-hard Murray fans want to feel a little closer to the famously ‘nice’ tennis champion.
It’s a Grade II listed thatched cottage with features from Elizabethan times in the Horsham, one of the largest ever featured on the programme, was commissioned by cleaning company boss Clinton Dalland cost £1.5 million to complete.
Now the house is on the market for £3.5 million.
As anyone who watched the Grand Designs programme may remember, Pavello features five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a mirrored gym, a two-car village of Henham in Hertfordshire.
