HIGH JINKS
WORK on the new Twilight Zone reboot continues apace, with the announcement that Adam Scott, right, will star in the remake of possibly the original’s most famous episode Nightmare at 30,000 Feet.
Scott has been cast in the role famously played by William Shatner in 1963, and by John Lithgow in 1983’s The Twilight Zone: The Movie.
The new series is expected to debut next year.
GUARDIANS GROUNDED
IT’S not good news for Guardians of the Galaxy fans, as the third film looks to have been shelved indefinitely.
Since James Gunn’s firing by Disney, the project has been stop-starting for months.
At a Black Panther event in LA this week, journalist Erick Weber asked Marvel boss Kevin Feige just what was going on.
Tweeting Feige’s answers, he confirmed that Guardians 3 is back “on hold” again.
That’s very bad news if there’s any hope of the film hitting its 2021 release date – and with no director on board, that’s looking less and less likely.
