High purity crack found in dealer’s car

-

A HAYES town centre drug dealer has been jailed for three years after being found with more than £2,000 of crack and heroin.

Lana Frederick, 32, was arrested by police after they raided her home in Silverdale Gardens, just off Coldharbour Lane, in 2018.

On April 13 that year, police forced entry into the home after securing a misuse of drugs search warrant and detained Frederick inside.

The raid was led by Metropolitan Police officers who are funded by Hillingdon Council, with support from voluntary police officers known as Special Constables.

They found a set of keys to a car which was parked outside and carried out a search which revealed two bags of suspected Class A drugs of which she later claimed to have no knowledge.

When the drugs were tested in the lab, they found 13.3 grams of crack cocaine at a purity of between 70 and 90 per cent. The other package had 6.98 grams of heroin with a purity of between 50 and 70 per cent.

The drugs together have an estimated street value of £2,010.

Frederick was charged with two counts of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply, which she admitted at Isleworth Crown Court.

PC Stuart Worrell, Investigating officer from the Hayes Town Centre funded team said: “Drugs result in antisocial behaviour and crime. They destroy lives and negatively impact on our communities.

“Drug dealing in Hayes will not be tolerated and we are committed to doing everything we can to target those involved and bring them to justice. I’m pleased that this sentence reflects the seriousness of what Frederick was involved in.”
