Flasher gropes woman in park
FRIEND ISSUESISSUES WARNINGWARNING AFTER MAN APPROACHED WOMAN AND GRABBED HER
A WOMAN was groped by a man who then flashed her and performed a lewd act in a West London park.
Believing he needed help, she got closer to the man before he reached out and grabbed her breasts before exposing himself and running off.
Police were called to Lampton Park, in Hounslow, at around 5.40pm on Monday June 20 to reports of a sexual assault.
A woman in her 30s had reported the crime which happened in broad daylight by an unknown male.
A friend of the woman took to a community group to warn others of his actions.
She claimed the man approached her friend with a message on his phone, asking to touch her breasts.
She added: “My friend thought he needed help because he typed something out on his phone to translate but when she read it, it said “can I touch your boobs”.
“As she got closer to read it he grabbed her hand to force her to touch him inappropriately.”
She added: “He also tried to grab her and then exposed himself and performed a lewd act as he was running off. Please share to anyone you know that uses the park, this was in broad daylight.”
The warning was posted to multiple community groups and shared to spread awareness about the assailant.
A spokesperson from the Metropolitan Police said: “Police are investigating a sexual assault in Lampton Park, Hounslow on Monday 20 June at approximately 5.40pm.
“A woman in her 30s is being supported by specialist officers.
“No arrests have been made at this time. Inquiries continue.”
