Fun day in memory of tragic Chloe
A FAMILY fun day will be held in memory of a young Widnes woman who died suddenly aged just 24.
Chloe Holland will be remembered through an event at the Parklands Club in Widnes on Sunday, July 10.
She died in October 2015 and Chloe’s mum Karen Flannagan has helped arrange the day with friends and family.
Proceeds will go to Child Bereavement UK and Our Lady’s First Steps nursery, where Chloe worked.
It runs from 1pm until 6pm on the pitch with bouncy castles, craft stalls, raffles, charity auctions and more.
From 7pm there will be live music in the club and entertainment.
Chloe’s mum Karen said: “Chloe was a really outgoing, happy person and everyone liked her.
“She was beautiful inside and out and a much loved daughter, sister, granddaughter and auntie.
“She worked at Our Lady’s in Widnes and loved it there, so we wanted to raise money for them.
“And Child Bereavement UK is a great charity which helps people dealing with bereavement.”
No parking will be allowed on the day of the event.
Child Bereavement UK, which has a centre on the High Street in Runcorn, supports families when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement.
The charity also trains professionals such as teachers and nurses to help them better understand the needs of grieving families in their working life.
