In the second Section Three match, the Cricketers Arms ‘B’ took on Simms Cross Institute.

The Stute’s Andy Abbott and Dave Evans took the first two games.

D Moran recovered a point for the Cricketers, only to see the Stute take it back via Tony Green.

The Cricketers Arms rallied, taking the next two games through Owen Batty and Scott Grady.

However this was not enough as Glyn Owen took the final game and the match for Simms Cross Institute.

In Section Four, the Millfield at home to the Mill Brow SC claimed the first two games through Alan Sutton and Chris Taylor.

The Brow fought back, levelling via Ray Linger and Alan Friar before going ahead through Paul Linger.
