Stacey’s support for bereavement cause
REAL Housewives Of Cheshire TV personality Stacey Forsey is to make a special visit to a Runcorn charity close to her heart.
A Child Bereavement UK spokesman said she is to pop in today to learn more about its work.
The charity supports families when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a youngster is facing bereavement. It also trains professionals such as teachers and nurses to help them better understand the needs of grieving families.
Stacey, a star of the ITVBe show, recently supported Child Bereavement UK with her charity art exhibition at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.
She said: “Child Bereavement UK has played a huge part in the life of my close friend who used the charity’s support to help her through a loss and allowed me a chance to also raise money in memory of a dear friend, Sharon Lowe, who I lost as a child.
“I am honoured to continue raising awareness of this amazing charity and look forward to seeing all the great work they do on my visit to the Runcorn centre.
“I will be holding a special pop-up art event for fans and art lovers to view the artwork created from my recent charity art exhibit, and will be announcing the total money raised.
“All funds will be shared between three charities close to my heart, including Child Bereavement UK, Coffee 4 Craig and Action On Addiction.”
Jonathan Evans, of Child Bereavement UK, said: “We are extremely grateful to Stacey for choosing to support Child Bereavement UK at her recent art exhibition.
“We are now looking forward to welcoming her to our centre in Runcorn to show her how the money raised will help support families who are dealing with bereavement.”
Stacey’s charity art exhibition will be at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on November 8.
