Singers to join Rat Pack tenors for show
INTERNATIONALLYACCLAIMED operatic trio Tenors Unlimited will be taking to the stage in Runcorn this February to serenade the crowd with a night of enduring classics and pop favourites in their Rat Pack Of Opera show.
Tenors Unlimited will be joined on stage by numerous singers from Runcorn and Widnes too, who will be adding to the sonic feast as part of the Vocal Infinity backing choir.
Their Rat Pack Of Opera show starts at 7.30pm at The Brindley on Wednesday, February 22, as part of the groups’ From Venice To Vegas tour.
The trio have performed alongside acts including Sting, Lionel Richie, Beyonce, Hayley Westenra, Simply Red and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and also sang at ● Wembley Stadium for the FA Cup final.
During 2017 they are touring the USA and Bermuda, as well as the UK, with a repertoire spanning the classics La Donna E Mobile, The Pearl Fishers Duet and Nessun Dorma, interspersed with crooner and pop favourites such as Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud, Sting’s Fragile, Freddie Mercury’s Barcelona, Volare, Moon River as well as songs written by Tenors Unlimited themselves which include Senza di Te, a track from their current album The Journey, as well as the title tracks to their previous albums ‘Brand New Day’ and ‘ Viva La Vita’.
Vocal Infinity is an all-female a ● cappella vocal group that formed six years ago in Warrington with 18 members.
Since then, under its musical director Denise Ireland, it has expanded to 44 members.
The choir has a wide repertoire ranging from The Beatles to Lady Gaga.
