Sisters scoop luxury break

-

VALENTINE’S Day is always a busy day for card shops, but shop owners, sisters Claire Lenton and Hellen Colley of Hallmark Widnes, in Albert Road recently had a special surprise of their own when they received the news that they were the lucky winners of a luxury break worth over £500 in awardwinning hotel, Gidleigh Park in Devon, with the first restaurant to ever be awarded the AA’s top hospitality award of five AA Rosettes.

The draw was organised by Tewkesbury-based greetings card publishers, Cherry Orchard as part of its Spring Fair events at the NEC to mark the launch of their new card range, Le Chic and the new designs for their best-selling Down Memory Lane cards and mugs.

The sisters are no strangers to success, having been chosen as Hallmark’s gold crown retailer of the year award 2012, beating off tough competition from 280 other stores, by offering a range of beautiful cards, gifts and Yankee candles, together with excellent customer service and constantly adding new products and incentives.

To celebrate their win, they have arranged a special 10% offer when customers spend over £10 in the shop, a great chance to find special treats for Mother’s Day and Easter and special birthday occasions. The offer ends on March 25.

Jackie Collins, owner and co-founder of Cherry Orchard said: “Spring Fair was a huge success for us this year and it was lovely to see so many dedicated buyers from the Independent Retail Sector tirelessly trawling the Halls of the NEC looking for quality and innovation from suppliers to make sure the high street continues to offer discerning customers a great range of unique products.

“We hope Claire and Hellen get the chance to enjoy some well-earned moments of relaxation and pampering that this beautiful hotel has on offer.”
