BLAZE WAS STARTED ‘DELIBERATELY’

A CAR was torched by arsonists in a Widnes neighbourhood.

Firefighters were called to Brandon in Hough Green at 1.49am on Wednesday, March 15.

Police officers also attended the incident and the ‘well alight’ car was extinguished with a hose reel.

A Cheshire Fire And Rescue Service spokesman said: “It is believed that this fire was started deliberately.

“If anyone has any information around who may have started this fire they should call Cheshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
