PENSIONS ‘HAMMERED’

I FIND it strange that there has been no outcry over the cutting of Tax Credits by reducing the Taper rate to 63% as well as ending the element for more than two children for most people.

Further, public sector pensions have been hammered by changing the interest rate used to calculate increases – ie using the discount rate in future.

There are also to be further cuts to housing benefit.

If the Conservatives believed in enterprise and equality what they should have done is ended the triple lock for pensions.
