No prostitution arrests
THERE were no arrests relating to prostitutionrelated crime in Runcorn and Widnes in 2016-17 according to Freedom Of Information (FOI) data.
An FOI request to Cheshire police requesting numbers of arrests for soliciting, managing a brothel, pimping, suspected payment for services from prostitute subject to force, or human trafficking for sex work resulted in a nil result for each offence type.
Under UK law, the exchange of cash for sex is not illegal, but loitering, kerb crawling and soliciting are, as are trafficking for sexual exploitation, causing or inciting for gain, keeping a brothel and paying for sexual services in which the prostitute is subject to force.
Offences involving chil- ● dren are dealt with under child abuse law.
The FOI request covered February 2016 to February 2017. VACANCIES: Part- time & Full Time - Sales Person & Cabinet Makers Required
