Oxbridge candidate advisor presentation
● A GROUP of Oxbridge students who all attended high schools in Widnes are organising an information evening to offer help and advice to the next generation.
Tim Long is an English language and literature student at Worcester College in Oxford.
He and a group of four others went to high schools in Widnes – Alex Austin, Suzy Vanezis, Andy Wells, and Jo Ross – before moving on to university in either Oxford or Cambridge.
They are organising an Oxbridge information evening for students in and around the Widnes area, mainly for those in Years 10 to 12.
It will be held on Thursday, March 30, from 6.30pm to 8pm at Saints Peter And Paul Catholic College on Highfield Road.
Any students and parents with an interest in Oxbridge are being encouraged to attend.
