Tyler’s six of the best tries leads the way as Reds defeat Crosfields

Crosfields U7 5 HFH U7 Reds 11 IT was an excellent all-round performance by every player for Halton Farnworth Hornets U7 Reds as they combined to see off their counterparts from Crosfields.

The team improved the more the game went on.

Tries came from man-of-thematch Tyler Finnegan with six. Teammate Charlie George crossed for a brace while Mason Rigby, Ellis Grady and Alfie Grabaskey each claimed one each.

In defence, the team was excellent.

Leading from the front was Mason Rigby with a tremendous 28 tackles which earned him the top tackler accolade.

Coaches’ awards went to Jack McGillicuddy and Connor Farrell for their excellent performances in the contest.
