Another great live line-up as Halton Rocks once again

-

HALTON Rocks returns for its eighth show in seven years this summer at The Studio in Widnes for a night of live music in aid of the Heswall Disabled Children’s Holiday Fund.

The concert will be bringing the cream of the borough’s best talent to the stage in the gigging venue with a fully licensed bar.

On the line-up are headliner Kessler, The Jjohns, The Quicks, Matthew McGurty, Ian Finney, The Quayz, Catherine Hardman, and Strangers.

Now an annual event, Halton Rocks attracts between 200 and 300 music fans every year in support of the charity.

Heswall Disabled Children’s Holiday Fund hosts a free weeklong summer camp each August for up to 30 children aged nine-15 years old, from the North West, who have physical disabilities.

Halton Rocks 2017 is on Saturday, June 10, at The Studio, Widnes.

Tickets are available now at the discounted rate of £5 from skiddle. com, or £6 on the door.

Anyone who wants to support the charity but who cannot attend can donate via the charity’s JustGiving page.

Laura Griffiths, organiser and musician, said: “Our local music scene does some fantastic work in support of charities in our area.

“Halton Rocks has been an integral part of that over the last seven years led by Si Owens, and we hope that this year continues to build on that legacy with one of the best line-ups we’ve ever had.”
