Nightstop enters shortlist

-

A HALTON-BASED charity that finds secure emergency accommodation for homeless young people and mental health support has been shortlisted for the 2017 E3 Business Awards and Halton Business Awards.

Nightstop Communities Northwest Community Integrated Company (NCNW) has been nominated in the social enterprise category for both E3 at the Macron Stadium in Bolton on Thursday, July 13, and also in the Halton Business Awards at Select Security Stadium on Friday, May 12.

Terri Kearney, NCNW chief executive, is also in the running for the ‘outstanding woman in business award’ title at E3.

Congratulating her colleagues, Terri said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been nominated for the E3 Business Awards and to be finalists in two categories as well as finalists in the Halton Business Awards 2017.

Mubarak Chati, managing director at E3 Awards hosts 1 Events Media, said: “Each year, it becomes more of an achievement to win a finalist’s place.

“Every year since we’ve started, we’ve seen an increase in nominations and a corresponding increase in quality.

“This year, across all seventeen award categories, we’ve seen an increase of around 18% on last year.

“Given the number and the high standard of entries, we certainly gave the nominations panel a difficult job.

“They have risen to the challenge, though, and their final selections represent the very best of the whole North West region. ●

“For Nightstop Communities Northwest to have been named as a finalist for 2017 is an achievement of which it should be very proud.”
