Wanted: stars of the future to join musical
●
THE search is on for talented young performers to star in the musical Peter Pan written by Anne Dalton.
Anne’s musicals, including the award-winning Her Benny, have played to packed houses throughout the country and following last year’s success with The Pied Piper ABD Productions are looking forward to returning once again to The Brindley, Runcorn.
The professional cast will be enhanced by teams of handpicked, talented, local youngsters appearing as Lost Boys, Indians, Pirates, Mermaids, Flame Dancers and Neverland animals.
In particular the roles of John, Michael, Slightly, Tootles and Tinker Bell offer challenging and exciting opportunities for them to demonstrate their vocal and dramatic prowess.
Older performers (male and female) are invited to attend to work alongside the professional adult cast in a variety of roles.
Peter Pan is coming to The Brindley, Runcorn from Thursday, July 27 to Sunday, July 30. ●
“We thought it would be a magical treat for families during the summer,” say the producers, ABD.
Like its hero, Peter, this spellbinding story never grows old.
“There are opportunities for several principals and supporting roles and quite a number of ensemble performers but they must all be good all-rounders, respond well to direction and give 100% commitment.
“I am really looking forward to the auditions and working once again with a cast of talented performers from the area.”
Auditions for Peter Pan will take place on Saturday, May 13 at The Brindley, Runcorn.
