UKIP’S candidate for the Halton parliamentary seat has outlined his party’s policies ahead of the forthcoming election.
Glyn Redican will stand on Thursday, June 8.
Mr Redican has been a Runcorn resident all his life and lives in the Mersey ward.
He has worked on both sides of the River Mersey before owning his own business in Runcorn Old Town.
He was also UKIP’s candidate for the area during the 2015 General Election, where he came third and attracted more than 6,000 votes.
In a statement, Mr Redican said the party would keep the NHS free at the point of entry and abolish car parking charges.
