Glyn Redican will stand on Thursday, June 8.

Mr Redican has been a Runcorn resident all his life and lives in the Mersey ward.

He was also UKIP’s candidate for the area during the 2015 General Election, where he came third and attracted more than 6,000 votes.

In a statement, Mr Redican said the party would keep the NHS free at the point of entry and abolish car parking charges.
