CREWS RESPOND TO FENCE BLAZE

A FIRE involving a fence which spread to a shed was extinguished in Widnes.

Cheshire Fire And Rescue Service crews were called to Harrison Street in Halebank at 3.04pm on Thursday, May 18.

A fire service spokesman said two hose reel jets were used to bring the blaze under control before the area was damped down.
