Sam-thing very good by Greens

HFH U11 Green 30 Saddlewort­h U11 12 THIS was another good performanc­e by HFH U11s Greens to beat Saddlewort­h 30-12.

There were tries for Annabel Attwood, Luke Lamey and Sam Fitzsimon who crossed for a fantastic hat-trick along with booting over a goal. His fine efforts earned Sam the playerof-the-match honour.

Goals were also landed by Luke Lamey, Sam Gallagher, Oliver Vale and Eamonn Slavin.

A great defensive effort was shown by the whole team with no less than eight players in double figures in the tackling statistics.

The top tackler accolade was awarded to Charlie Shone. Woolston Gold U7 10 HFH U7 Reds 10 THIS was a battle from the first whistle with the Hornets going ahead with the opening try scored by Charlie George.

It was end-to-end with both teams playing some terrific rugby.

There were some super tries from Charlie as he scored seven in total and another outstandin­g hat-trick registered by Alfie Grabaskey.

The man-of-the-match award went to the whole team for showing great courage throughout the game. Newcomer Dexter Pinnington was the top tackler and the coaches’ award went to Kaiden Anderson.
