Firm moves into warehouse site

-

A RUNCORN manufacturer and installer of bespoke retail displays has moved to a new 8,000sq ft warehouse.

Display Team UK Ltd needed to move to the new site after experiencing an increase in demand from large retailers such as John Lewis and the Dixons Group.

The new warehouse will provide the company with the increased capacity needed to expand its current contracts and pitch for new clients.

To fund the move to the new site founder Lee Bradburne approached Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, which provided a £250,000 package.

It allowed the firm to release funding from unpaid invoices, providing the extra working capital needed without affecting its day-today cashflow.

As a result, the business expects to double its turnover in the next 12 months and double its workforce.

Lee said: “When we first started the business in 2013 we stored all our equipment and stock in my parent’s garage, so it’s fantastic that we now have a large warehouse and employ six people.

“Moving to the new site means we can pitch for larger contracts and we now have both the flexibility and available working capital needed to complete them.

“As we’ve grown it’s been great to have the support of the relationship team at Lloyds Bank, and they are always available to offer guidance and discuss new ideas.”

Display Team UK Ltd creates product displays for technology firms, beauty manufacturers and design agencies and installs them in high street shops and department stores across the country.

Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking relationship manager Serona Ruthven said: “Having the correct funding package in place is key to helping businesses like Display Team to grow and offering tailored solutions like invoice finance is one way that we’re helping Britain prosper.”
