Site manager wins building accolade

-

A HOME builder’s site manager in Widnes has triumphed in the first round of an industry award competition.

Bill Hughes works for Miller Homes in the North West at Fairfield Gardens.

He has won in the first round of the National House Building Council ( NHBC) Pride In The Job Awards after being recognised for his dedication to excellence in the industry.

With more than 16,000 site managers competing, the NHBC took 12 months to rigorously judge applicants from around the country.

Now in its 37th year, the Pride In The Job Awards celebrate the exceptional contribution to the industry brought by site managers to build homes of outstanding quality in the region.

Miller Homes’ sales director in the North West Sam Johnson said: “Every year we are thrilled to celebrate the success of our North West’s site managers in the Pride In The Job Awards.

“These are such important accolades in our industry and it’s so rewarding to see our hard working site managers being recognised for their contribution to bringing the highest quality new homes to the North West – well done Bill!”

The awards and celebrations, however, are far from over.

Bill will now compete against other regional and national winners for Regional Winner and Seal of Excellence titles; with winners announced on Friday, October 27.
