Newbies are kitted out in style thanks to businesses’ terrific support
WEST Bank Bears U7s Newbies are the proud owners of a brand new kit, thanks to overwhelming support from local businesses.
Main kit sponsor Forster Dean Solicitors recently attended the team’s weekly training session and were presented with their own framed shirt to hang proudly in their Widnes office.
Dan Thompson was pivotal in helping arrange the sponsorship and the coaches, players and parents wanted to show their appreciation.
Along with main sponsor Forster Dean Solicitors, the new team have also received generous sponsorship donations from the following: Tyre World; Contraflor; Austrin Gearbox Specialist; Fireplace Factory Showrooms; The Gutter Cleaning Company; Chicks On Wheels; PJ Flooring; Bennett.
And training kit sponsor: Mr Watmores Horticultural.
The team’s delighted head coach, Eddie McAdam, said: “The support we have received has been incredible.
“It’s great to see so many local businesses getting behind junior rugby.”
The team recently held a kit reveal evening where the boys were each presented with their squad number for the season and got to see their new strip for the first time.
