RUBBISH BLAZE EXTINGUISHED

A SMALL rubbish fire was extinguished in Widnes.

Firefighters were called to Cholmondeley Street in West Bank at 7.02pm on Wednesday, July 12.

A fire service spokesman said a ‘ small’ unattended rubbish fire was found on arrival, and a hose reel jet was used to put it out.
