MAN DENIES ASSAULT CHARGES

A MAN who denies assaulting two people outside Halton Lea Library in Runcorn has been remanded into custody.

Anthony Austin Kaine McNulty, 27, of no fixed abode, was arrested following an incident alleged to have taken place at Runcorn Shopping City on July 6.

Magistrates remanded him into custody on Friday, July 14, until he is due to re-appear on August 11. Court papers said McNulty entered not guilty pleas on July 7.
